「マチに飲みに行きましょうか」と地元民。はて？マチ？街ってもう、僕たち街にいるじゃないか。「ああ、これは田舎あるあるで、繁華街に飲みに行くことを『マチに飲みに行く』って表現するんですよ」
ひがし茶屋街の一軒家ワインバーへ。実に趣きのある街並みであり、この風情の中でワインを飲むなど、私も大人になったものである。
2階の個室に通して頂けました。畳敷きのちゃぶ台でノスタルジアを感じさせます。ちなみに1階は掘りごたつのカウンター席でした。
ワインの値付けが全般的に高く六本木価格です。地元民に言わせると「ひがし茶屋街で飲んでるの、みんな東京の客ですよ」とのこと。ドゥラモットのハーフは5,000円強と唯一の許容範囲内。
しかしながら店員がポンコツの極み。注ぐ際にドバァとこぼしたくせに「あ、スミマセン」の一言だけで済ましやがって、およそワインに対する愛情を感じられませんでした。
東京の一般的なワインバーとは異なり、お通しにひとひねり入っています。
ポテトサラダも結構旨い。
ソーセージの盛り合わせは想像以上に盛り合わさっており、食べ応えがありました。
どっぷりと濃いワインを楽しみたくなったので、カリフォルニアのコチラ。値段の割に完成度が高く満足のいく1本。
