昨日買った『番茶も出花』(加賀棒茶クリームパン)がしみじみ旨くて再訪。
本格的なハードパンもいいが、しっとりした和製菓子パンも捨てがたい。

2日続けて入店。
ちょうど『ポパイの朝食』なる焼きたてパンが香ばしい匂いを発しながら出てきて勧められるがままにそれを手に取る。それからパイもひとつ。
暗くなっても種類豊富なパンを選べる幸せを感じつつ閉店までに売り切れるのか少々心配にもなる。繁華街にありながらひっそりと誠実に営む小さなパン屋に幸あれ。
○ポパイの朝食
宿に帰って温かいうちに頂く。
ベーコンの旨みとチーズの香ばしさとほうれん草の風味がベストマッチ。断然焼きたてが美味い。
○甘栗パイ
翌朝コーヒーと共に。ズッシリギッシリ詰まった栗が嬉しい。ほっぺたが喜ぶ。
