ＪＲ金沢駅から徒歩１８分のところにある当店。駐車場なし。当店は、金沢で人気Ｎｏ．１のカフェ。コーヒーとプリンが有名。お店は近江町市場からすぐ近くのレンガ造りの外観。朝早くから行列ができている。店に入るとコーヒーの香りが充満。落ち着いた色彩のステンドグラス。壁にかかった古時計。歴史を感じる柱やテーブルの渋い焦げ茶色。棚に並んだたくさんのコーヒー豆のビン。いずれの景色も純喫茶らしい雰囲気を店内に漂わせている。心地よい空気感だ。注文したのは、

コーヒーはどちらも薄味で、サラッとしている。万人受けしそうな感じだ。東出ブレンドの方が深みとコクがあった。それよりも良かったのが、プリンとアフォガート。プリンは、評判通り絶品。クリーミーで口当たり良いプリンに、カラメルがたっぷりと染み込んでいる。また、アフォガートは、バニラアイスにエスプレッソをかけたもの。これがバニラアイスの甘味とエスプレッソの苦味が絶妙に絡み合って、こちらも美味しい。コーヒーは残念ながら小生の口にピタッとでなかったが、雰囲気とプリン、アフォガートに満足。また是非訪れたいカフェだ。
