A restaurant that boasts seasonal Kaga vegetables and fresh seafood
The restaurant is proud of its dishes made with seasonal Kaga vegetables and fresh seafood landed at Kanazawa Port, but it is especially known for its lotus root dishes, which are also the subject of |
I was looking for a restaurant in Kanazawa that was open on Sunday and found "Washokuba Hasuya". The food and sake (Japanese sake) were very delicious and I was very satisfied. I had a sashimi platter (6 kinds), jibuni, steamed lotus, grilled blackthroat seaperch, fried Noto oysters, lotus root sashimi, and Himi udon. As the name "Hasuya" suggests, the lotus steamed and lotus root sashimi were delicious. The sashimi platter was also excellent, with wild yellowtail, water octopus, gas shrimp, and filefish liver and sashimi. The best thing about today was the jibuni. It was a shame that the restaurant had a "2-hour limit" and that "smoking is allowed," and I was upset when the customer next to me at the counter started smoking. However, the service was good and I had a pleasant meal. I have one more restaurant that I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.
