31 March 2024 Hasuya, Kanazawa Shintenchi [Menu] Firefly squid sashimi Deep fried white shrimp Firefly squid with vinegared miso Clam oden Deep fried gas shrimp Deep fried eggplant Horse mackerel namero [Impressions] On my last business trip to Kanazawa, I went to Hasuya twice, both of which were always fully booked. ✨ This was also a restaurant recommended by locals, so I was looking forward to going there! : The firefly squid sashimi, which is hard to find, was fresh and well prepared with no fishy smell, and was surprisingly sweet and delicious✨ Both the ginger soy sauce and the wasabi soy sauce were delicious The fried white shrimp have been delicious no matter where I've had them, but I think this was the best The firefly squid vinegar miso was pudding-like and the borui was something else entirely For me, when it comes to Kanazawa oden, the baigai is an absolute must, so we asked for a single serving of baigai for each person and we all ate it with great excitement. The liver in particular was exceptional and went really well with the hot local sake The fried gasu shrimp, unlike the white shrimp, was filling and we could eat it endlessly✨ The deep fried eggplant was refreshing and not at all heavy with the mutsu flavor, and was so delicious that I wanted a second helping✨ The horse mackerel namero that I had at the end was also excellent, along with the sake✨ This is another restaurant I would definitely like to visit again if I go to Kanazawa♪♪ Thank you for the meal.
