東山茶屋街店オリジナルメニューあり |
東茶屋街のきんつばの名店中田屋の２階にある甘味処です。窓の外には東茶屋街の中心の広場が見えます。一階の中田屋さんでは観光客がひっきりなしに入れ替わり、きんつばが本当に飛ぶように売れています。豪華に試食もだしていて、大人気です。
２階はウェイティングボードに名前を書いて待ちますが、バスでの観光客が多いので、時間の制約があるためか入れ替わりが結構あり、意外に待ちませんでした。実はここは穴場かもしれませんね。
２階と1階では使っている小豆の産地が違うとのことでした。1階は、北海道産。2階は地元産と伺いました。上品な上生菓子と抹茶のセットを和の空間のソファ席でゆっくり楽しめます。
すごい観光客の人波の中で、ホット一息の時間が過ごせで元気がでます。
