旅行で訪問した石川県。
金沢最高の観光地といえば「兼六園」です。
と言うか、兼六園しかないとも言えます。
その兼六園近くにあるのがこちらのお土産屋です。
兼六園下交差点から兼六園桂坂口へ上っていく手前にあります。
基本はお土産屋なのですが、店頭でジュースやシェイク、ソフトクリーム。夏場はかき氷なども売っているようです。
その日は、2月の金沢とは思えない暑さで何か冷たいものを身体が欲していました。
『さくらソフトクリーム』というのが私の目を引きました。
ソフトクリームのさくら味ということです。
さくらとは、桜のことです。
さくらんぼとは違うようです。
でも、桜の味って何よ？どんな味なんだ？
桜餅というのがありますが、あれは桜の葉で餅を包んでいるから桜餅なのです。
決して桜の味がする餅という意味ではありません。
店内には、愛想の良いオジサンとオバサンがいます。
その辺のところを訊ねてみますが、「桜味」なんだと言います。
訊いても良く解りません。
もしかしたら、単に桜をイメージしただけのピンク色のソフトクリームかもしれません。
食べてみれば解るかと考え、とりあえず食べてみることにします。
ワッフルとソフト・・・
要するに、コーンの部分が違うだけです。ワッフルの方が50円高くなっています。
うん・・・なるほど！
確かに桜味です！（笑）
初めての味でした。うまく作ったものだと思います。
兼六園に行った際にぜひ食べてみてください。
ちょっと私は言葉で言い表すことが出来ないので、今後のクチコミにバトンを渡すことにします。
