The salt sauce menu using salt from Noto is a hit.
I decided to go to Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) "Enyatei" in Yamato-cho, which I had been interested in for a while, and enjoy the salt sauce menu, which uses salt from Noto, which is a specialty. First, let's have some draft beer! The appetizer is "boiled eggplant". For snacks, I decided to order the salt sauce menu from the beginning. This is "salted cucumber". It's topped with plenty of salt sauce, and the texture of the cucumber and the flavor of the salt sauce make it the perfect accompaniment to alcohol! It seems like they use local vegetables and fish here, so normally I would have ordered sashimi first, but since I came back to Komatsu, I've been enjoying fresh seafood on a daily basis, so... I will pass on sashimi on this day! It seems that salt sauce is also used in ``Asparagus Bacon Stir-Fry.'' At this restaurant, salt sauce is used even in dishes that do not have "salt sauce" written in the name of the dish, and the dishes have a taste that is both elegant and umami, giving a sense of consistency. However, on the other hand, there may be some aspects that feel like it has a one-sided flavor. This is "Tororo Teppan-yaki". The grated yam is cooked on a hot iron plate and has a sticky consistency, making it feel like you're eating Monja-yaki. "Fried squidfish." Was the frying temperature a little high? The ``herb sausage'' was a juicy dish with a really herbal scent. The last thing I ordered was ``salted fried rice''. The flavor of the salt sauce intertwined with the rice, making the fried rice quite delicious. It turned out to be cheaper than I expected. On the day I went (Sunday), the place was almost full with group reservations. It's a store that seems easy to use. This is what happened when I went there quite a while ago. http://asahip.cocolog-nifty.com/asap/2013/04/post-7605.html

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, an increasing number of Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) restaurants are changing their business formats or opening for lunch. This is also Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), and they started serving weekday lunches from March 9th, so I stopped by. Although it was in the city, I was able to park for free at the parking lot next door during lunch time. Well, when I went there a long time ago, Enyatei was famous for its salt sauce menu that used salt from Noto, and it seems that it is still going well, and when I went there, I saw a board like this at the entrance. It was being served. I don't remember much about the interior of the store, but I feel like the raised area has been converted into table seating. This is the lunch menu. Generally, Ramen seems to be the main dish at lunchtime, but there are several side dishes, including the fried rice with salt sauce that was written on the board at the entrance! Since it was written as 500 yen, I decided to order the fried rice without hesitation. At home, I reread what I had written a long time ago, and at that time I was also eating ``salted fried rice''. It's been popular ever since! ? It seems like they are particular about Ramen noodles. Furthermore, on this day, fried rice was discounted by 50 yen, making it 450 yen. wonderful! As for the taste, it's definitely a salt sauce, or rather, it tastes more salty than soy sauce. The taste is different from the fried rice served at Chinese Cuisine restaurants. It depends on your taste, but personally it was my favorite flavor. The volume was just right, and I was very happy with the price of 500 yen (450 yen on this day). If I had to be greedy, I would have liked the price to be a little higher and soup included. I also make Ramen, so I think I can do it.What do you think? Now, I don't know how long this coronavirus pandemic will last, but I would like to pay tribute to the restaurants that are making various efforts. Thank you for the meal.
