盛岡市「橋本屋 本店」はなんと創業1618年で400年超の老舗蕎麦店、なんだけどこちらの"ワンタン麺"がなんか有名らしい。ま、さすがに400年前からラーメンは出してないとは思いますが気になるのでその"ワンタン麺"をオーダー。(後にTVのグルメ特集で昭和40年代にワンタン麺を出し始めたと知る)大きめの丼にネギ、メンマ、のり、チャーシュー、ワンタンにこの手のラーメンの具としては珍しいキクラゲ入り。スープを一口すするとあっさりとした和テイスト。グルメリポートで発せられるいわゆる"優しい味"ってやつ。ワンタンは肉がゴロゴロ入ってて１０ケ近くあります。「皮、テュルンッ、具、ゴロッ」な食感。ボリュームたっぷりで満腹になる一品。他のお客さんもワンタン、ワンタン麺をオーダーする方がほとんどでした。
