グルメな地元の知人に紹介されていったのがこちら。実はこの日の1次会は別の店で予約だったため、1時間１本勝負の0次会であった。
入ったお店の内装は、非常にシンプル。スタッフさんもカジュアルなルックスで若い。ふーん、なるほど。0次会は軽めのスタートなのね。と思ったのが、間違い。ここは見た感じとは違って、本格的な和食のお味であった。
突き出しにはホヤ。さすが盛岡。さりげないが美味い。早々に生ビールを飲み干し、日本酒に切り替えてもらう。
刺身盛り合わせ。コチ、ヒラメなどの地魚。これが旨みに溢れている。日本酒がグイグイすすむ。
肉ピーマン。こちら箸休めなのだが、新鮮過ぎるピーマン、絶妙な味付けのミンチ肉、そして少しだけのマヨのベストミックス。知人の言葉では「作れそうで作れない味」、まさに。
そして、メインの天ぷら。入店直後からごま油の香りがしていたのが、それは天ぷらのためのものであった。配合はいろいろと変化させて良い感じにしているとのこと。
見よ。鮎の美しさ。そう、ここの天ぷらは美しいのだ。そして軽い。胆嚢を取ってからというもの、天ぷらを食べ歩いているわけではないのだけれど、過去一の軽さ。これならパクパク食べれてしまいそう。恐ろしい。
海老、舞茸、鯛。全て美しく、全て軽い。人は見た目が9割という話も昔あったけれど、騙されてはいけない。コスパの良い最高の天ぷら屋だ。
