小豆島一周の自転車旅を終えた夜パイセンとお疲れさん会。
ホテルから直ぐのお店に今から直ぐ入れますけど空いてますか？
くらいのタイミングで予約を入れる。
ここは四国で3店だけのナポリピッツア協会公認のお店。
イタリアビールのタップがあるとの事で早速ペローニで乾杯。
軽やかな味わいで水がわりに飲めるビール。
オーダーは前菜盛り合わせハーフ。
テーブルに置かれた原寸大Tボーンステーキの模型に惹かれてそれを。
ピッツアはマルゲリータと生ハムのハーフアンドハーフ。
あと何かを、、と探していると先を越されて
茄子とアボカドのフリットをオーダーされる。
取り敢えずそれでテーブルはいっぱいになりそうなので
追加は後で。
なんて思ってたのはこの時までだ。
前菜盛り合わせハーフのボリュームたるや
これ一皿で2人なら最後まで呑めるゼ。的なボリューム。
スパニッシュオムレツやら、手羽先の燻製やら
これはニシ貝かな。サラミで甘唐辛子を巻いたものやマカロニサラダにニンジンの卵焼きにレモンを絞ったような？不思議で癖になる美味しさの添え物やら。
あ、あとレンズ豆たっぷり。
いやホント値段安いのに盛りだくさん。
最近美味しい店が増えてるからか
お目当てのピッツアはまずまず。
意外と1番のヒットは
オーダーしてもらった茄子とアボカドのフリット。
衣がペーキングパウダーで膨らんでてそれがカリカリに揚げられててビールと相思相愛のヤバうま。
この時点でふぅ。満腹。
と思ったら原寸大模型に惹かれてオーダーした肉が忘れた頃にやってくる！！
ポテトもたっぷり添えられて。
肉は洋物らしくサーロインは筋が力強くて日本人の顎の弱さを思い知らされる。
オヤジ2人は口には出さず静かにフィレの争奪戦。
自分なりに精一杯頑張ったけれど
最後は満腹という言葉では表せられないくらいにお腹いっぱいでドギーバッグをお願いする羽目に。
老舗イタリアンのボリュームを侮ってはいけないなあ。
