朝から小雨、連休最終日、瀬戸大橋を久しぶりに渡って、四国香川へ。お目当てはうどん、最初のお店はこちら、製麺所ゆえに店内で頂けるのはお昼１時間の限定営業とのこと。開店１５分前に着くと既に行列の山、車を隣の駐車場に停めて早速並ぶ。既に開店してるらしい、列が進み、注文を聞かれる、冷の小（１３０円）をお願いする。トッピングは玉子、揚げ、お肉がテーブルにあって自由にとって、後で申告する後払いのシステム。
並ぶことわずか１５分程で、次の方と呼ばれ、隣の建物に入り着席出来る回転の早さ。店内は小ぶりなテーブルを取り囲んで丸椅子に座るという詰め込み型、自分の順番がどこかは分からないが、冷の小と呼ばれた瞬間、手を上げてうどんを頂く。
冷うどんにねぎ、天かす、生姜を入れて、それと揚げ（９０円）を取って、出汁醤油を上から掛けて出来上がり。うどんは、創業昭和５年、さすがザ・讃岐と言わんばかりのコシと小麦の香り、とても美味しい、うどんそのものを楽しめる。薄めの出汁で、うどんの味わいを楽しみながら、あっという間に食べ終わってしまった、ご馳走様。お代を払った後は、隣の店舗でうどんを買って帰ろう。
