たくさん行ったうどん屋さんの中で、家内が暴れ出しそうになった店が2店ある。ここがそのひとつ(苦笑)
とにかく新しいうどん屋を！ということで、最初はひとりで行った。歴代ナンバーワンの入りにくさ。高級感漂う店構え、しかも入口が重厚感のある木製ドアで中の様子が見えない。そもそも入口がどこかすら分かりにくかった。本当にドキドキしながら大きなドア(とびら？)を開けると、予想通りの高級感。お金持ちだろうと思われる人たち(高齢者が多い)がゆったりと座っている。場違いなところに来てしまった。後悔し始めた時、席に案内された。『お1人様ですか？こちらにどうぞ』入口近くのカウンター席。
メニューを見る。(ああそうか！ここは普通のうどん屋とは違うんだ)骨付き鳥とか、他の本格的な料理もメニューに並んでいる。(うどんはどこ？)あった。でも頼み辛い(笑)
注文してからしばらく待つ。後から知ったが、注文を聞いてからうどんを茹でるのだそう！
味は美味しかったので、家内も連れて行こうと後日もう一度行ってみた。ところが、この日は特にタイミングが悪かった。すごく混雑していて(並んでいるわけではなく中で混雑しているという感じ) 頼んだうどんが待てども待てども来ないのだ！家内は午後から仕事の日だったので、だんだん焦りだす。職場までの時間を考えるとギリギリ。そしてついに家内が暴れそうになった(笑)『ちょっとなんぼなんでも遅過ぎるやろ！忘れられとんと違うん？聞いてこうか！』「いやまあ、もうちょっと待ってみよう！」と言い終えるかどうかのタイミングで席を立ち、外回りのスタッフさんに尋ねていた。『もう少し！って』あきらかに表情に変化がみられる。
またしばらく待ち、ようやくうどんが来た。美味しかったと思うが、味を楽しむ余裕はない。この日以来「また行こう！」とは言えずにいる(苦笑)
