この日はうどん屋さん巡り。金蔵寺→琴平→丸亀ときて宇多津駅にやってきました。駅近くに人気店がいくつかありますが、混んでそうなのとお腹がもう一杯なので腹ごなしに遠くまで歩いてうどん屋さんにいくことに。ピックアップしたのはこちら。めりけんやかけはし店です。宇多津駅から、さぬき浜街道にでて新宇多津橋の方に向かって延々と歩きました。道中は大きな幹線道路なので誰も歩いてる人などいないです。大きなスターバックスやマクドナルド、パチンコ屋さんなどを超えてやっと到着。もう海の突端です。向こうには瀬戸大橋がよく見えます。
お腹がいっぱいなので、ぶっかけ（ひや）の小を注文。うどんの味は良く言えば安定しています。悪く言えばチェーン店のうどんっぽい感じです。帰りはもと来た道よりも工場地帯を抜けて更に海沿いを歩いてみました。釣りをしている方が沢山居られました。景色も最高でした。
