Revisited 2016.4 Today, I was just having fun again, not as much as last time, but I won a little, so as always, I'm treating everyone lol I was wondering where to go, but since I have work tomorrow, I can't go far and decided on this place that's very close by. It's a weekday, so I visited without making a reservation today. When I arrived, the restaurant was empty as expected lol, but there were a few groups of customers, so in a sense we were a group (7 people in total), so we were shown to the same sunken kotatsu table seat as before. I looked at the menu and ordered a drink first, which was brought along with the appetizer. Today's appetizer was potato salad, meat and Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), and something like yakisoba? lol After the drinks came, we each ordered what we wanted to eat, but unfortunately there was no "○○ fair" this time, unlike last time. However, the elderly female waitress was very energetic, and the atmosphere was great, with both the kids and us adults enjoying drinking and eating. This restaurant is within walking distance from my house, and it looks like it will be my home ground from now on~ lol Visited 2016.1 Today I won a lot of money while playing around, so I half-forced my sister (lol) to treat me to a meal today! I searched for a nearby Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) and decided on this restaurant. I had been Tabelog reviewer yet, so I decided to visit again! It's about a 15-minute walk from my house, so I made the effort to walk there to have a drink~♪ Maybe it's because a big cold wave is coming tomorrow, but when I arrived in front of the restaurant in the cold, my sister and her family were just there, so we decided to go inside. When I went inside, there were quite a few young customers (students maybe?) at the counter seats and small tables, and it seemed like there were a fair number of customers. I waited for a while while watching the staff busily preparing the food, and they asked me, "How many people are there?" I replied, "This is Lidduld, which I had made a reservation for," and I was shown to a sunken kotatsu-style seat on the far right. As I sat down and looked at the menu, a warm towel was brought to me in a basket with the words "Here you go~♪". A towel should be like this after all lol (paper ones are tasteless...) First, we had the drink menu, so I had my usual lime sour, the kids and the driver's sister had soft drinks, and my nephew had a draft beer. After the drinks were brought to us, they brought out fried chicken fillet and some other fried food (I couldn't buy this one so I didn't check it lol), Simmered dish fish and shimeji mushrooms, and a boiled egg. I was a little surprised by this, as they usually serve the same thing for the number of people, but this was the first time they served so many different kinds. It was pretty good♪ While we were eating the appetizer, we chose our main dish, but they were doing something called a "Hokkaido Fair" and my daughter said "I want to eat salmon roe bowl," so we started with that, and then we ordered a variety of grilled dishes. My eyes were glued to one dish on the menu and I wanted to eat it for the first time in a while, so I ordered "Sakura Yukhoe." After that, we just had a variety of things that everyone could pick up. Well, it wasn't that fast, but after a word of "Sorry to have kept you waiting," the food was brought out one after another without any sense of "it's slow." What's more, they handed each dish to us one by one, saying "Your order is ○○, △△, □□," which was nice♪ The menu is diverse, ranging from the standard grilled dishes (beef, pork, chicken, etc.) to rice dishes, salads, grilled fish, desserts, etc., and there is also a wide variety of drinks, from beer to cocktails, sours, and soft drinks. My daughters ate what they liked, my dad (me) kept drinking, and my nephew was in a rush to drink and eat. No matter how you look at it, they were eating so much that I thought they would take away all of today's big wins. After about an hour and a half of eating and drinking, everyone was pretty satisfied, so I asked, "Are you ready?" and they said, "We haven't had dessert yet." So it was dessert time, and my sister and daughters ordered something called "Danish Vanilla." Not to be outdone, my nephew ordered "Chinese noodles (salty)." All the dishes that had been brought to me so far had a decent taste, but I was a bit surprised by the Chinese noodles to finish off the meal. It was a chicken-based salt Ramen, but the chicken broth was really good and the soup was delicious. The noodles were probably frozen, but they went well with the soup, and as a final Ramen, I would give it 4 stars for both quantity and taste. If I hadn't eaten udon at 3 o'clock, I might have ordered this as an additional order. Everyone was satisfied and we timidly went to pay the bill. I forgot to mention that this restaurant does not seem to use the usual mobile devices and instead takes the payment from a handwritten order sheet, which takes a little time. Every time you press the POS key the amount goes up and up. ``Hmm, it should cost about this much for that amount,'' I thought, but... it was cheap. It was much less than I had expected. If we could eat that much for that price, it's close to home so I might definitely come back again. There are many Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) nearby such as ``Torizo'' and ``Hyakumanryo'', so I hope this restaurant does well. If you come by car, be aware that there is a small parking lot.
