I pass by this place almost every day, and it's on the second floor of a multi-tenant building, so you don't know what it's like unless you go inside, so as a Yakitori fan, I've always wanted to go there. I did. The store seemed very old. I was surprised to see so many customers in the store even though I couldn't see the store. I guess it's because the prices are reasonable and there are a lot of dishes. Inside the store, there are seats with sunken kotatsu, and some seats are like bunk beds, so it's very small. There are also couple seats where two people can sit, but the seats are all separated by curtains, so if you're claustrophobic you might not like it. I think it would be nice if the entrance/passageway was a little more organized...Personally, I don't like the atmosphere. Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) was covered in oil, and the shiitake mushrooms had been cut in half and were too small. The food I ordered was pretty average, except for Gyoza / Dumpling, which had garlic left over until the next day. The skin is so sticky and oily that when you pick it up with chopsticks, it's so soft that it breaks. I felt that the skin should be thicker and harder and grilled crisper. Gyoza / Dumpling was the most disappointing. The menu was extensive, but many were out of stock. Maybe they are dealing with things that cannot be done by saying they are out of stock. When I ordered Onigiri and miso soup, the seaweed on Onigiri was tasteless...the miso soup came in a huge bowl. I poured that bowl over. I'm often disappointed with the restaurant's atmosphere, the speed of cooking, and the taste of the food, so I don't think I'll come back again.
