鹿児島王将は「餃子の王将」を名乗れる唯一の暖簾分け企業になります。大阪王将も元は暖簾分けでしたが、親会社と競合し喧嘩別れとなり、「餃子の王将」を名乗れなくなりました。
今回京セラ創業者の稲盛氏も手伝ったと言われる1号店で食事しました。店内は昭和そのままの雰囲気で、昔近所の王将もこんな感じだったなと懐かしい気分にさせてくれました。
今回餃子はパスし酢豚とビール、〆で焼飯を注文しました（注文はテーブル上の伝票に自分で書き込むシステムです）。
酢豚は味も量も京都王将と異なり、結構ニンニクが効いていて、酸味もしっかりで美味しかったです。またボリューミーで食べ応えがありました。直営店よりこちらの方が旨いです（御影王将には及びませんが）。ビールとの組み合わせは最高でした。〆の焼飯は京都王将とほとんど同じ味でしたが、若干味付けがあっさりだったと思います。
隣の方の焼そば（ソース味）、餃子、唐揚げが美味しそうでしたので次回訪問時に試したいと思います。
