Having come all the way to Kagoshima, I wanted to try the famous Pork Cutlet (black pork), so I made my first visit to Kurokatsutei Kurobee for lunch, which mainly serves Kurobuta tonkatsu. The store was full, but there were no other people waiting, so I was able to enter after waiting for about 15 minutes. There are value lunch menus such as Kurobuta pork loin cutlet lunch (1,390 yen) and combination lunch of Kurobuta pork loin and brown pork fillet (1,490 yen), as well as limited quantity menus such as Kurokatsutei set meal (2,090 yen). I was hesitant about whether to go for it, but since I rarely have an opportunity like this, I chose the black pork top loin cutlet lunch (2,390 yen). It will be served in about 10 minutes. Kurobuta pork top loin cutlet lunch consists of rice, pork soup, cabbage, Small dish (pork shabu-shabu), and pickles. Refills of rice and cabbage are free. Pork Cutlet is truly delicious. 220g of Kurobuta pork is used, and the meat is thick and has a fatty flavor. It's great that you can enjoy three different flavors: blended salt, special black sauce, and miso sauce. Small dish of pork shabu-shabu and the pork soup with lots of ingredients were delicious, and I was able to enjoy everything. It was very filling and I was full by the time I finished eating.
