About two weeks ago, I made a reservation online for a full-course dinner (14,000 yen) at selection! The restaurant is located in the downtown Tenmonkan area of Kagoshima City! The exterior of the restaurant has a chic atmosphere and the interior is lit with soothing lighting. The course starts with an amuse-bouche of ham buns that resemble pigs! The miniature size of the bread was easy to eat and the crispiness of the bread went well with the ham! Next was the MVP behind the scenes, the smoked ham and fresh onion quiche! The crispy dough quiche with plenty of shaved cheese and smoked aromatic flavor is the best of the best! The sweetness of the fresh onions was also very tasty! For the main course, you can choose from Satsuma Fukunaga Beef or Demizu Deer, and this time we chose Demizu Deer Loin! When I come to French cuisine in the countryside, I crave gibier. Of course local brand beef is delicious, but after all, gibier is hard to come by in the Kanto region. Deer loin is characterized by its strong lean meat element, very tender meat, and refreshing flavor! It can be served simply with salt, or with the original sauce of red wine and garlic essence! They even serve special hashed rice for those who can still eat! The hashed rice is full of flavor from the Satsuma Fukunaga beef that was not available for the main course, which is slowly simmered to give it a rich and deep flavor! The best hashed rice I've had in a long time has made my body sink in! The best of Kagoshima's ingredients are used at French cuisine! The chef is a strong-looking owner-chef, but he was very friendly and kind when we talked to him at the end of the meal! The desserts were very creative and fun, and the cigar-shaped desserts were very playful and fun. Thank you very much for your hospitality. Please go and try it!
