The Kagoshima store, a full-fledged Italian Cuisine operated by LG&EW Co., Ltd., which operates six restaurant nationwide, including Atré Ebisu and Gotanda, just opened on September 13, 2023. I visited at lunchtime. When you get off the elevator on the 5th floor of Amu Plaza Kagoshima, it is covered with a wall and has a sense of dignity that is different from the open atmosphere of other restaurant. The entrance is on the opposite side of the elevator hall, and there is a waiting space. Lunch is a two-course meal with no à la carte setting (primo and second are prix fixes). I had a glass of Chardonnay for the "Legalo course (tax included: 4,290 yen)" and wine. The appetizer, "Seasonal Vegetable Salad," is thinly sliced, but the ham and beets make a bold statement w The "Onion Gratin Soup" that follows is full of onions, and it's quite voluminous so far. And the "Garlic Oil (Spaghettini) of the Three Miyamoto Brothers of Ibaraki Prefecture and Homemade Salsiccia," which I chose as the Primo Piatto, I also enjoyed the contrast in texture of the crunch of the salsiccia and the lotus root of the three Miyamoto brothers. The seasoning is also salty, and it is my favorite flavor. The noodles are thick for spaghettini, and super al dente, which is my preference! However, I had the impression that the amount was small, so I would like to have pasta a la carte next time. The second Piatt chose the meat, and the "grilled black pork" fat was well balanced. Zucchini, eggplant, and other garnishes are also gorgeous. And for coffee, Dolce is "Cannolo and Cassis Sorbet" I'm embarrassed to say that it's my first Cannolo, a confectionery that originated in Sicily. The crispy fried tubular dough is thick~ cream that matches well with coffee. Italian Cuisine While there is not much image of vegetable intake, it was good that each vegetable was served with a lot of vegetables. Since it is near the station, it can be used after business negotiations and for entertainment lunches. Next time, I would like to visit at night with the aim of a la carte so that I can fully enjoy the delicious pasta.
