加治木から姶良カルデラにそう形で錦江湾を南下して仙巌園に鹿児島市街を通ってひたすら走り指宿市内に入りました。時間はかかるけど走ってみたい道なので満足です。
市内に入りすぐに道の駅があったので休憩タイム、鹿児島らしく知覧茶のペットボトルにオクラソフト〜⁈あまり映えない色合いのソフトクリームは確かに野菜の味わい、オクラって粘りが特徴なのでこう味わうと分かりにくいかな。お土産で買った皮まで食べられる神バナナのジャムは確かにバナナ、こんなの初めてでした。
買いませんでしたが店内には大きなすり身のパッケージがありこれでさつま揚げを自宅で作るのかな。シイラなどもあり面白いですねー 建物外の肉の自販機はユッケや牛刺しがあったりと地域性を感じさせる道の駅でした。
