加世田へ出張の2日目、仕事終わりに夕食として訪問しました。場所は加世田の閑静な住宅街の中です宿泊したビジネスホテルから歩いて５分程で到着。 先客はお盆の時期ならではの大所帯の家族で座敷、テーブル席も2/3は埋まっている状態、カウンター席に座りこれは時間が掛かるかもと思いながら黒豚ロース定食と生ビールをオーダー。その間にも来店者が絶えずに店主が時間が掛かると後から来たお客さんを断る状態になるほどに、ますます時間が掛かると思いきや店主の粋な計らいが！ 先客が居たにも関わらず一人客の私のオーダーを優先して分厚いトンカツが運ばれて来たのです。
さてトンカツですが厚みは15ｍｍで180ｇ程あるでしょうか？ 衣も厚すぎず薄すぎずカラッと揚げられていて、口に入れると柔らかく、脂身も甘くて本当に美味しい。付け合せのキャベツの千切りもたっぷりで自家製のマヨーネーズタイプのドレッシングもかけ放題、ごはんの炊き具合も申し分無い。本当に美味しいトンカツを頂けて店主も計らいもあり次回、加世田に来た際にはリピートしたいお店だと評価させて頂きます。
