横浜で突然、イタリアン欲がでる。しかもゆっくり食べたい。普通のイタリアンレストランは一人だと何かさみしい。お一人様でも行けそうなお店を検索。出てきたのが百名店のこのお店。皆さんが書いていらっしゃるように、「重い扉」引くのか、押すのか、はたまた引き戸なのか？びくともしません。30秒くらい扉の性状を確かめ、引き戸と確信。渾身の力を込めて開けると、息をのむような豪華な空間が現れます。
メニューを見ると二つのコース。どちらにも食べたいものがあります。そこで、アラカルトで注文。ワインはソムリエさんにグラスでペアリングをお頼みします。
一品目はトリッパ。2品目は季節を感じるホタルイカと菜の花のペペロンチーノ。メインはウズラとフォアグラ。
立派なトリッパは美味しく調理され、文字通り私の胃袋を優しく満たしていきます。アルデンテがしっかりしているパスタにホタルイカが良く絡んでいて美味しいです。それを、ややしっかり目のシャルドネと合わせます。これがまた美味しい。
メインはフォアグラとウズラ。二種類提示された赤ワインのどちらにするかソムリエさんと相談して古樹のピノノアールにしました。果実味がしっかりしていてまろやかなタンニンのワインと、ウズラ美味しいです。そして絶妙な火入れのフォアグラはしつこさが無く、素直なピノノアールにも合います。
デザートも食べてしまって、満足なご飯になりました。このデザートも春の香りたっぷり！
基本イタリアンのお店ですが、所々にフレンチが顔を出します。それがまた、お料理を面白くしています。
食事にも、ワインバーとしても使えるし、良い隠れ家です。重い扉を超えれば、そこに美味しい世界が広がっています。
