It's been a while since I've had a drink in Yokohama, so Shimantsu is one of the restaurants I've wanted to try out for a while. I came here based on the Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that Cow tongue was delicious and had an izakaya atmosphere. There wasn't much on the menu, but I ordered the recommended Cow tongue and the bubbly jangja. When my friend came, I also ordered the sashimi platter. Cow tongue was certainly delicious, but Other of the menu felt like a typical Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), so I ended up giving it a rating of 3.2. My friend went there saying Cow tongue was delicious, and ordered Cow tongue again at last order. LOL I think it cost 16,000 yen for food and drinks for three people, which is a bit expensive. That's it for the night at Yokohama West Exit.
