こちらは横浜駅東口のアソビルに入居しているカレー屋さん。野菜と植物性油で仕上げた薬膳カレーをメインに小皿のタパスも提供しており居酒屋としての機能も合わせ持っているようです。元々は新宿が発祥のお店で全国に13店舗を展開しています。
『チキンカレー／1,100円』
平日のランチタイムに訪問。アボガドを使ったカレーがイチオシのようでしたが、ここはオーソドックスにチキンカレ－をチョイス。辛さは６段階あるうちの下から３番目「辛口」でお願いしました。
カレーを待っている間にセルフのビュッフェコーナーへ。もやしの和え物やジャガイモ、コーン、お新香など数品が並んでおり取り放題。ルイボスティーと一緒にもやしとお新香をたらふく取って頂きました。
ほどなくして美しく盛られたカレーが登場。昔懐かしいアーモンド型の白米ライスに薄く敷かれたカレールー。四角いチキンの塊が３つ綺麗に並んでおります。
ルーは少しザラつきがあり一口で薬膳と分かる独特の味と香り。シャバシャバ感は無くペーストに近い状態で量は少ないもんですから、少しずつ丁寧にライスに絡めてから頂きます。
チキンはたぶんムネ肉なのかな。皮つきですが妙な脂身はなく割ってみると真っ白な断面。こちらもカレーに絡めて頂きます。やはり重い油を使用していないせいか、口当たりはとってもライト。健康的に味わえるので女子にもウケるかもしれません。
