こちらはディナーのみの営業です。
いつも半開きになっているドアを開けてお店に入ると、タイ人のあんちゃんはあまりしゃべらず。
示された席に座って、メニューを開きます。
ドリンクメニューの中から珍しいのでグロスタービールを頼むと、「ナイ」と簡潔な一言。
それではとビアチャーンとゲーンキャオワンガイ（ライス付￥1000）を頼みました。
暗い店内。テレビでは日本の番組をやっています。
22時前で先客は3組。タイ人女性の3人組が、それぞれ主張し合って（?）います。
1杯目のグラスを飲み終わらない内に、意外と早くゲーンキャオワンとライスが出てきました。
あんちゃんが無言でテーブルに置いていきます。
ライスは硬めに炊かれた（表面が硬い？）日本米。量は少なめです。
ゲーンキャオワンはサラサラのスープ状、というかスープそのものです。
具はチキンの他、タケノコ、ナス、ピーマン、パプリカ。それにホーラーパーが入っています。
食べてみると…辛さはしっかり辛いんですが、何と言うか…、
ゲーンキャオワンをお湯で割ったような？そんな感じさえ受けるあっさりさでした。
ホーラーパーを噛めば、それなりに香りはありますが、
全体的には味も香りも薄いような…ま、こういうカレーもあるということでしょう。
何といってもこちらはハマカレー認定店（2004/2006 №16）。
未だに入り口ドアのガラスに認定シールが貼ってあります。
レッドカレーの方はもうちょっと違っていたのかな？覚えていません。
タイ人女性3人組はさらに盛り上がり、スタッフのあんちゃんも会話に加わっています。
こちらは…ちょっと楽しみきれないかなぁ。
「サービスです」と出てきた寒天（?）ゼリーもあまり味がありませんでした。
このお店はこの通りでもかなり古いお店だったと思います。
なぜ「ニュー」シャムなのかが気になります。
そういう話が聞ければ、とかそういう雰囲気ではなかったですね。
もうちょっと通いつめて、色々食べて、コミュニケーションをとったほうがいいお店かもしれません。
