短い冬の日が静かに暮れ始めた睦月も半ばを過ぎた週末。
今宵の野毛先案内人は、野毛町の 『でんがな』 に二人でお邪魔した。ここは、12年12月13日に新規開店したばかりのピザーラ系列のチェーンの串かつ屋。
店内は、カウンター8席、4人テーブル15台の造り。入店時のBGMは、山根康広のGet Along Together。テーブルに席を決め、先ずは生中480円を注文。お姉ちゃんは「ご新規さん、生二丁で～す」と、桁上げした声で板場にオーダーを通す。
肴は、牛もつ塩煮込み380円と、串かつは8本セット920円と野菜5本セット580円にする。運ばれた串かつを、二度づけ禁止のソースをつけて食す。タネは小さめでそこそこの味だが、名物と謳っている煮込みは残念賞。
しかし、「串かつと書いてあるが、これは串揚げではなかろうか…」。まっ、そんな疑問はさておいて、燗酒一合380円を追加してのんびりと呑む。関東人が、一生懸命に関西の本場風を装っている感じが否めないのは、相方と意見が一致。
品書きは、串かつ30種、一品18種で、全て120円から380円と安価な値段設定。酒類は、生に瓶ビール、地酒、本格焼酎、ホッピー、サワー、ワイン、ハイボール、果実酒が一通りの取り揃え。
年中無休で、平日11時半、土日12時に開店。ウインズ帰りや、一人のサクッと呑みには使い勝手はよさそうだが、野毛には旨くて安く呑める店が多いので、この味と内容だとチェーン店とはいえ苦戦必至かも。
隣席の女子会の声が大きくなってきたところで腰を上げた軽く呑みのお会計は3,220円也。店員の元気な声に送り出されて外に出ると、冷え切った夜の空気がほろ酔いの頬を痛いほどに刺激して、思わずマフラーをかき合わせる。
明日は大寒。野毛の町も本格的な寒さにふるえている…。
