Although it was a late lunch, the restaurant was about 60% full. Kushikatsu dengana translates to ``kushikatsu''. It's Osaka dialect. Kushikatsu is one of Osaka's gourmet foods, along with Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki. The sauce used for it is spicy Wistar sauce. It is eaten by dipping it in the sauce once, but it is well known that it should only be dipped once and not twice. ◯ Set of 5 kushikatsu ¥680, draft beer ¥580 If you register for this on LINE, you will receive quail kushikatsu as a service. Also, this is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), so they serve appetizers, and a small bowl of burdock is ¥250. Kushikatsu is beef, chicken, sausage, eggplant, and onion. The coating is crispy and the inside is hot. Dip this in the sauce and wash it down with beer. It's the best part of kushikatsu, but personally, I would like the sauce to be a little spicier.
