白いカットケーキのような横浜インターコンチネンタルホテルの最上階にある高級中華料理店です。飲茶アフタヌーンティーというものを今回初めて知りました。ランチとディナーの合間に開催している飲茶のコースなのでそう呼ばれるようです。値段は6,500円、場所柄とお値段からおめかししてお出かけです。
前半は塩気のある食事。揚げ物3種、蒸し物3種、小皿料理が3種。どれもとてもおいしい！…んだけど、少量のせいか料理がすぐに冷めてしまって残念でした。温かい料理は到着したら即食べることをお勧めします。
後半はデザート。常温スイーツ3点と冷たいスイーツ4点の二部構成。マンゴープリンはお店の名物だそう。果肉トロトロでゼリーに近い感じ。中国茶リストから茶葉を指定すると200ccくらいを鉄急須で持ってきてくれます。ポットウォーマー付きなのでずっと熱いお茶を楽しめました。
2時間かけて軽食~デザートという流れは、甘いものが好きな女性の会合に最適ですね。コースは13時半/14時開始の2コマだけなので、ゆっくり身支度して集合できるのもよかったです。絶景とお喋りを楽しみながら中国茶飲み放題。お茶のおかわりなどで何度お願いごとをしてもスタッフがニコニコとフレンドリーなのも楽しい気分に水を差されなくて嬉しい。
ただ食事量は少なめなので、男性なんかだと帰り道にラーメン屋に流れてしまうかもです。
