出張でも観光でもみなとみらいのホテルに宿泊される方々に街場以外で
唯一紹介できるバー。
ゆえに宿泊もパンパシをお勧めしている。
考えてみれば自分が出張などで宿泊先を考えるとき、良いバーがあるホテルを
定宿としているのだから当たり前のことだ。
実際パンパシはホテルとして、みなとみらい一番だろう。
ホテルマンは当たり前だが、配膳会のアルバイトですら
パンパシで働けることに誇りを持っている。
ホテルにおいて、そこで働けることに誇りを持っている人間達が居ることは
何よりの宝であり、お客様からの信頼につながる。
そのパンパシの中にあるジャックスはクオリティーが高い。
オープン当初、いかにもホテルのメインバーという雰囲気ではなく
みなとみらいに在るホテルのメインバーという空気感に驚愕した。
その空気感は今も健在。
ただ年々サービスの質は落ちている。
この５年はそれが顕著に出ている気がする。
空気感に助けられているのではなく更なる向上を強く求む。
が、ここで吸うシグロは美味い。
大阪のウェスティンのメインバーがナンバー１だが、ここも負けずに美味い。
来年の４月になったら、もうその味も楽しめなくなるのかと思うと憂鬱になる。
