RHCのフィッシュ&チップスが好きだ。自分の中でフィッシュ&チップス、といえばRHC。衣がこんがりクリスピーで。唐揚げ風にカラッと揚がっているのがよい。本場イギリスのとはまた違うおいしさ。この日はみなとみらいのRHCで。
メキシカンコブサラダもうまい。皿いっぱいに広げられた大きなトルティーヤ生地の上にメキシカンスパイスの効いた柔らかなチキンと野菜がたっぷり載っている。先に具材を少し食べて、残りをそのトルティーヤでキュッと巻いてラップにする。シェアする場合はナイフで真ん中で切ると断面も美しい。一人でワイルドに一本丸ごと端からかぶりつくもよし。
ドリンクのシトロン エスプレッソ トニックは、ほろ苦くて爽やかで、そこにオレンジのビタースイートな風味が加わって非常に美味。蒸し暑さを吹き飛ばしてくれる。これは珈琲専門店のエスプレッソトニックよりうまい。ビールを飲めない時はこれに限る。
