I think this shop has changed the drinking culture of Yokohama in many ways. Nowadays, Noge is a place where many young people and women go out drinking, but in the past, it was really a drinking district for old men. BASIL completely changed this atmosphere. The opening of this BASIL store was a turning point for Noge. After that, it expanded into Minato Mirai. I think it was difficult to move into Queens due to the leasing review by the traditional railway company (which also had general trading company capital at the time), but I am really grateful that there is a shop in Minato Mirai where I can drink casually at Noge prices. On this day, I moved from the Sakuragicho area while watching the cherry blossoms and stopped by to hydrate. Since it was cherry blossom season, I went to the shop praying that there would be a terrace seat available, and as if my wish had come true, there was only one seat available. For the first drink, I had a draft beer without hesitation. For the second drink, I connected a Heineken, which I don't know how many bottles I drank during the 2019 RWC, with a beer, and for some reason, I had a draft sparkling wine in between, and then a draft Yebisu black draft to complete my hydration. For snacks, I had the pate de campagne, which I always have when available, and chilled tomatoes, which they say will make the calories of what you eat zero. I hope this place continues to be a great spot for a quick drink in Minato Mirai.
