Curry for the first time
I often visit Tsubakiya. The Minato Mirai store is a hidden gem, and you often see office ladies and older women chatting together during lunch hours. Instead of pasta, I ordered a beef curry and soup set with coffee this time. The female staff member was so quiet I couldn't hear her, but she was efficient and reliable. The wait time was generally just under 10 minutes. The soup came quickly at first, and coffee after a meal takes time, so it comes out faster if you have it with your meal ^_^ The curry was saffron rice with plenty of beef! I wonder if it didn't have much spice? There was plenty of beef, but it wasn't rich, so I felt it was a bit of a waste.

I entered the restaurant at 4pm on a weekday and hadn't had lunch yet, so I thought I'd just eat something, but when I asked about the lunch menu, I was told that it was still valid. So I ordered the Hayashi rice and chocolate chiffon cake set. Hayashi rice is rich with yellow rice and has a mellow flavor, which I love! I finished eating in no time, and they brought me coffee and chiffon cake right away. The coffee was a blend, but it was refreshing and delicious despite being strong.
