横浜スタジアムに近い、玄武門をくぐり中華街の神聖域に
入って、加賀町警察署のある交差点角に位置する、バー。
「ゾルバ、ZORBA」
この界隈は、ホットドッグ屋さんとか、老舗中華料理屋
さんとか廃業、移転など移り変わりの激しいところで、
その中でどっしりと腰を構えている、老舗のショット
バーです。
私が伺ったのは平日の夜7時くらい、扉を開けると
先客1名、あとは私。
1時間くらい滞在するあいだ、後の客はなし。
実は仕事の関係でこの辺りはよく往来するのですが、
この日に入店するのは、多分初めて？以前に利用
したかも知れないが酔っていたので記憶にない。
ただ、zorbaとかいう名前は記憶にあり、ギリシャの
出身のオーナーさんが経営していることだけは
覚えていた。
カウンターに着くと、まずSalty Dog。
つまみは、オリーブ。
オリーブの漬け具合、塩加減は良いですね。
次はMakers Marks、Double Straight。
腹が減ってきたので、Pizzaを注文。
結構クリスピーな仕上りのPizzaは、チーズも
ふんだんに使われており、後をひく美味さで
白ワインを追加で注文しながらアッと云う間に
平らげてしまいました。
ここで頼んだ白ワインは、ギリシャ産の
珍しいワインだとマスター曰く、確かに
水を飲むようにグビグビといける美味さでした。
ギリシャ産ワインは貴重でしょう。
また呑みたくなりました。
まだ未開発のショットバーですが、仕事場
からも比較的近いし、是非近いうちに中華
料理を食べた後に伺いたいと思います。
