※国産小麦100％の自家製麺を大きな釜で茹であげた、そのままをいただきます。水で締めないうどんは、もっちりとした白玉のような食感で、微妙にざらついた表面にだしがよく絡みます。小麦の風味そのものを味わう、丸亀製麺の代名詞。
(kamaage udon／Homemade noodles made from 100% domestic wheat. Boil it in a large pot. Udon noodles that are not seasoned with water have a chewy, shiratama-like texture. The slightly rough surface allows the soup stock to stick well. You can taste the flavor of wheat itself. It is synonymous with Marugame Seimen.)

※毎月一日、釜揚げうどんの日、半額。今では丸亀製麺の代名詞ともいえる釜揚げうどん。創業当初はお客様になじみなく、なかなか定着しませんでした。だからこそ、もっと親しみやすく、そして気軽に体験してもらえるよう半額で販売したことから誕生したのがこの｢釜揚げうどんの日｣です。
