[2024/02/02] [b:Marugame Seimen Kannai Branch] February 2nd, lunchtime I was hungry so I stopped by the Marugame Seimen Kannai Branch in Yokohama. When I went to order, I noticed that the "Oyster and egg sauce udon" was not on the menu! It's a seasonal menu that started at Marugame Seimen on January 30th this week. Is the menu different depending on the store? I didn't know this and was disappointed. It seems to be available at the stores I usually go to. I had no choice, so I ordered the Oyster Bukkake Regular 790 yen. There was a big lump of butter about 10g in it. Then I thought it was margarine, not butter, which was also a surprise. The website said it was butter flavored (if you read it carefully, it said margarine). There were six Oyster from Hiroshima. They seemed to be boiled and deep-fried. In addition, there were lemon wedges in it, and you squeezed the juice into it. If that's the case, you don't need margarine. Next time I'll go to another restaurant to eat "Oyster and egg thickened udon". But before that I have to check in advance whether "Oyster and egg thickened udon" is on the menu at that restaurant.
