とある慰労会で訪問したのがこちらのお店。同僚の中では有名なお店のようで、予約をしてもらっての訪問なのであります。
地図を頼りに地下に下りますと、古びた雑居ビルの中にある古びたお店。
予約席はお店奥のお座敷席。飲み放題を予約してくれておりましたので、延々と生ビールをお願いするカントナなのであります。そんな生ビールは、いつでもジョッキがギンギンに冷えているのが嬉しくて、呼ぶとすぐに来てくれるのも、空きジョッキの片づけも早いのも、嬉しくて感激なのであります。
そして肝心のお料理でありますが、焼き物に美味しい品物が多いのであります。特に印象的であったのが、「ピーマン肉巻き串」。ピーマンも肉もジューシーさがとことん追求されていて、当然味付けは抜群で、オプションでチーズトッピングをいたしますと、チーズの塩味が加わって味の膨みが一層際立つ一品なのでありました。
他にも「うずら串」は、半熟なトロけ具合の驚きと燻製風味に仕上げられた事による抜群の美味しさで、肉系の「レバー」や「牛タン」は「外カリ中フワ」の焼き具合である上に、塩味の効き具合がしっかり尖っているのがお酒に合う串なでありました。
「他のお店ではなかなか食べられられ無いな」と思わせる個性的で味付けが上手な美味しい串の数々と、キンキンに冷えたビール。他のお店とはちょっと違う古びたお店の第一印象とは全然異なった、カントナ好みの特徴的で良いお店なのでありました。
