There are some staff members who don't speak Japanese, but orders are taken on a tablet so it's not a problem. |
First visit in December 2023 A new store that just opened in November 2023. A restaurant specializing in Tohoku (Donpei) cuisine, which is rare in this area. There are many menus that come with rice. You can order using a tablet, and pay using PayPay or a credit card. If you have the time, we recommend choosing from the Tohoku cuisine section on your tablet. They are listed below in the order they were received. The first dish I received was a cold dish of cucumber and tofu skin. A colorful dish with green cucumber, white bean curd, black wood ear fungus, and red paprika, seasoned with chili oil and garlic. I'm glad there was more yuba than in the photo. As soon as I received this dish with beer (medium bottle), I was convinced that this restaurant was wonderful. Next was the lamb Grilled skewer. The extremely juicy lamb meat and spices such as cumin go well with beer. After that, stir-fried potatoes, eggplant, and green peppers (so-called Jisansen). On the menu of the tablet, it is written as Century egg which is a charm. The name and appearance are plain, but the combination of creamy eggplant, crunchy green pepper, and steamy potato with strong seasoning is very delicious. It tastes better with white rice, but if you have alcohol, you can use potatoes instead of rice. In addition, boiled Gyoza / Dumpling and boiled Gyoza / Dumpling. I asked if there was a difference between the two, but maybe it's just the number (10 for the former and 5 for the latter, 15 in total). It's handmade and has a thick skin with a simple filling of meat and pickled Chinese cabbage. It's delicious whether you dip it in sauce or eat it with vinegar. Lastly, the shrimp fried rice. The ingredients are finely chopped, and the fried rice is crunchy and delicious. It's great that a new restaurant has opened outside of the Isezaki Mall side of Kannai (historically Kannai) and Chinatown, where you can enjoy such wonderful Tohoku cuisine. Next time I would like to try the Tohoku cuisine course. Apparently you can eat on the day, but reservations are recommended as they serve fish dishes.
