I had the traditional menu `` Seafood Doria'' that originated at Hotel New Grand for the first time in a year. The shop is located on the 1st floor of the main building of a European-style hotel. The restaurant has a spacious and calm atmosphere, and we were shown seats on the courtyard side. `` Seafood Doria'' is a dish that was improvised and created by Hotel New Grand's first head chef for a customer who was feeling unwell. Personally, it's my favorite dish, competing with fried shrimp for second place among Western Cuisine. Eating freshly baked piping hot doria on a cold day is the ultimate luxury. When the long-awaited doria arrives freshly baked, it is filled with the rich aroma of cheese. Visually, it has a golden brown color and looks delicious, doesn't it? When you put a spoon into a piping hot bowl, there will always be shrimp and scallops in there, no matter where you scoop it. The rich péchamel sauce has a mellow texture, and the gentle flavor of butter and milk will make you feel happy. As expected, it is of high quality and carefully prepared. The balance of richness, flavor, and aroma is exquisite. As I continue to eat, my body feels warm from the inside out. The gentle taste of history and tradition warms the body and soul.
