独身時代勤めていた会社では、事業部の忘年会は毎年中華街で行われていました。
メインストリートの同發や聘珍楼、萬珍樓といった早々たるお店で、フカヒレやツバメの巣、北京ダック、スズメ、カエル…
まぁ、正統派中華をいただいていたのですよ。
なので中華街というと高いイメージがありました。
参加は無料でしたけどね。
そんなイメージの中華街でしたが、入り浸っていた喫茶店のオーナーが私とお友達を誘って中華街に連れてきてくれたんです。
それが四五六菜館。
当時は1店舗だけで細い路地にひっそりある小さなお店でした。
安いし、おいしいし、メニューはチャーハンとか餃子とか春巻きとか親しみのあるメニューばかり。
ひし形の寒天でできた杏仁豆腐が一般的だった時代に、とろりとした杏仁豆腐は衝撃的でしたよ。
今はお店も4店舗くらいに増えているんですね。
でも、お値段はリーズナブルなまま。
久しぶりに利用してみました。
最近はオーダー式の食べ放題ランチをはじめたらしく、1,900円でいろいろ食べられるみたい。
もう中華はもとがとれる気がしないので挑戦しませんが。
最初にスープが運ばれてきたのですが、量多！
小分け用の茶わんで2杯は軽くありましたよ。
ザーサイも食べやすかった。
叉焼炒飯

回鍋肉や麻婆豆腐を頼んだ人はご飯がお櫃で供されてましたよ！
全体的にボリューム多いです。
年配のご夫婦はお店の人に「多いね～ｗ」と言ってました。
デザートは杏仁豆腐。
あ～～これこれ。
変わってないな～。
今でこそどこでも食べられる杏仁豆腐だけど、30年以上前にこれは衝撃的だったのよ。
平日はコーヒーつき。
昔と変わらずハズレのないお店です。
今度は小籠包など一品料理を家族で食べに来たいわ。
