== ... My tension melted away. I was recommended a seat by the window, so I sat there and looked at the menu. Now, shrimp cream, cod roe, or bacon cheese? It was hard to decide. None of the three overlapped with the fluffy demi-omelette I had at Zero Soba. Hmm, I decided to go with the biggest dish on the menu, the shrimp cream Omelette Rice (1,450? yen). Behind Kawai was a family of about seven. I wonder if there were tables further back? I can't see them from here. Oh!? There are all kinds of figures in the showcase on the wall. Eva, Gundam, DB, etc. I especially liked how Char was riding Kaneda's bike. First, the salad and soup were prepared. The salad was well chilled and lightly dressed with sesame. The soup was rich with the flavor of the vegetables. The omelette was ready in 9 minutes. Wow! Isn't it beautiful? (*´-`) It doesn't seem to be small in volume. I mean, it's really filling. The sauce is also beautifully applied. Well then. Hohooooooo (￣▽￣) Shrimp! Shrimp pilaf on barley rice, huh. Shrimp on this one!? I thought it was shrimp cream sauce. Other ingredients include onions, green peppers, and mushrooms? The onions and green peppers are cut into large pieces, and the texture of each one adds a nice accent. The bitterness of the green peppers is particularly effective. Mushrooms? Are they raw? The texture is chewy and fun. The sauce is tomato sauce, and it's rich in umami. Is the cream here? It has such a rich flavor and a strong sourness, but it doesn't feel heavy. The egg is firm and thick, and it perfectly mediates between the light rice and the rich sauce. And the moist texture is fun! Maybe they wrapped the rice in the egg and shook the frying pan to set the shape? That's the kind of tight fit they had. It felt a little on the large side, but it went down easy. The tomato sauce was rich, but not too heavy, and I guess the light flavor of the rice and the thick egg balance it out, making this an omelette with a great balance. I'm sure their other omelets are good too (￣▽￣) Maybe there was shrimp in the sauce, but that was overshadowed by the impact of the shrimp in the rice. The service was friendly and refreshing, no problem. Thanks to that, I had a comfortable time. Anyway, I'm pretty full. And maybe it was because it was Sunday, but I don't like crowds (´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`) Should I leave... To be continued.
