土曜日は大体、「趣味」の活動日に充てており、前日である金曜日はその準備に追われ、世間でいうところの「華の金曜日」的に好きに飲み歩くという事がないのだが、
この週の土曜日はその趣味をお休みとしたので、金曜日に存分に飲めることと相成った。
というわけで、いつものように中野・高円寺界隈で飲んでいても芸がないので横浜方面に住む女子を誘い、お食事会。
雰囲気と料理の内容が良さげなこちらを予約。
カウンター席に座ると、目の前の冷蔵ケースに10種類ほどのタパスが並んでいる。
料理が目に見えるのはとてもいい。
3種類以上で盛合わせも可能という事で、どれにしようか迷いつつ、豆のサラダ、燻製チキンとうずらの卵、自家製ピクルス、豚のリエットをチョイス。
いい感じのポーションで盛り付けられて登場。
追加でフラメンカ・エッグを頼んだ。
フラメンカ・エッグはトマトソースにパプリカなどの彩り豊かな野菜を散りばめ、その上に半熟卵を載せた、スペインの郷土料理でその見た目がフラメンコダンサーの衣装のように美しい事から、
こういう料理名になっているらしい。卵が好きなのでスペインバルで見かけたら、大体頼みがち。
こちらはソースの中にご飯が隠れていて、崩した黄身と合わせればスパニッシュＴＫＧのよう。
スペイン料理に明るい訳じゃないが、フラメンカ・エッグにコメ入りは珍しいような気がする。
定番的にブロッコリーとエビのアヒージョ。
追加で自家製のぶっとい肉肉しいソーセージあたりを食べていると、シェリー酒ががんがん進み、最終的には赤のボトル。
よくあるスペインバルではなく、割ときちんとしたスペインバルで、トータル的なバランスもよかった。
料理を1人でこなす、鉄人みたいなシェフがかっこいいと思ったが、雇われたばかりなのか50代くらいの白髪交じりの給仕担当の人が店長らしき若いイケメンに結構怒られているのが気になってしまった。
頑張ってほしい。
