横浜・山手の丘、外人墓地前に1967年から続く老舗洋食レストランで週末ランチ。
店内は昭和レトロなまんま。眼前に広がる外人墓地とその先の見晴らしが素晴らしいです。
11:30頃に来たのですんなり入れましたが、お天気も良く、12時前には満席。
ランチメニューから、
「千葉県産豚ロース肉のグリルセット2,300円税込」をオーダー。ライスかパン、サラダ、ドリンクがセットになっています。
看板メニューはビーフシチューハンバーグで、甘いデミグラスソースを味わうべしということのようですが、洋食屋さんは私は断然豚肉派。
この豚ロース肉グリルですが、脂身もあって柔らかく、添えられたレモンをキュッと絞って、酸味がバジルソースと相まって、いやあこれ、美味しいですよ。ライスの量が控えめで少食の私にはちょうどいい感じ。普通はお肉の量に対してもう少しご飯欲しいかも。お値段はまあ、観光地価格ですね。
