延平門と善隣門の間、
西門通りと福建路が
交差するところにある一品閣
その一品閣の看板料理、
牛バラ肉刀削麺８００円が
ランチサービスで
牛バラ肉刀削麺＋五目チャーハン＋ザーサイ＋杏仁豆腐
７００円(税込み）となっていたので入店。
店構えは大きいが
店内は４人掛けテーブル５卓と１人掛けテーブル１卓で
こじんまりして町の中華料理屋さんのような雰囲気。
１人掛けテーブルは、
目の前に雑多なものが置かれていて
それらのものと一緒に食事しているようで居心地悪そう。
2階には6人掛けの円卓もあるそうだが
よほど混まない限り
2階に案内されることはない。
セットメニューの全てが、
ほぼ同時に配膳された。
私にとっては有難い。
牛バラ肉刀削麵の牛肉は、
メニューサンプル写真より
少なくてガッカリ。
その肉をよく見ると
スジがびっしりと入り込んでいて
スネ肉であることが一目瞭然。
店員さんに
「これバラ肉じゃなくてスネ肉ですよね？」と尋ねると
「そうです」との返事。
どう言い逃れるのかと思いきや
開き直られて拍子抜け。
もしかして日本語を理解していないのかと勘繰り
「日本語わかる？」と尋ねると
「だいじょうぶ」との返事でした。
このスネ肉、
２片のうちの一片は、充分に煮込まれておらず
スジがまるで小骨のように口に残り吐き出した。
刀削麺のスープは、
ピリ辛で酸っぱい味だけでコクがない。
次にチャーハン、
卵とレタス
それに２ミリ角のチャーシューが数欠けら入っている
とても具の少ないチャーハン。
口に含むととても塩辛い
食べ進めるうちに油のくどさが感じられる。
このお店は、
テーブルでの喫煙可なので
タバコの煙が苦手な人は、
やめておいた方が良い。
