老舗ばかりに気をとられているのは、保守的だからか？
僕自身のコトである。
どうしても、新しい感じの店を、ちょっと斜に見てしまうような感じが芽生えてしてしまう。
でも、こうして訪問して、その度ごとに心を新たにするのである。
この店、明らかに、中国東北系の料理店である。
外観から見てもそう書いてあるし、メニューの一部など、特色ある料理写真が掲示されている。
この西門通りと福建路の交差点辺りは、「東北人家」もそうだが、東北系の料理店がある。
僕は、ランチに串を追加しただけなのだが。
「砂肝の鉄板焼き定食」(990円)＋「羊肉串・牛肉串」(132円×4) ―― 写真の通り。
串料理が４本からというシバリがあったので、僕の常套手段の羊肉串×２本に、牛肉串を足した。
ホントは、牛ハツモト串を注文したのだが、売り切れで変更した。
砂肝の鉄板焼き。
アルミホイルで包まれた状態で登場する。
油ハネするので、音が落ち着くまで、しばらくそのままで待てと言われた。
そして、広げてみると、いかにも東北料理の香り。
例の、串などに使うスパイスに似た感じのモノが、この料理にも使われている。
美味しい。
うん、かなり美味しい。
唐辛子や山椒なども入っていて、辛シビ系のような雰囲気に、そのスパイス感。
砂肝も量があり、食べ応えアリ。
地元・池袋チャイナタウンでも、こういう感じの東北系のネイティブ料理は何度か口にしているのだが、ココまでスパイス感の強さは無いように思う。
一緒に炒められている野菜系も、このスパイスに出会い、別物のように美味しい。
コレ、気に入った。
串は、双方とも、肉量が多い。
どちらも美味しい。
でも、逆に、この串のスパイスは、他の多くの店と同じ感じのスパイスではなく、スパイス数が少なく、単純にして美味しいと感じた。
ふりかけみたいなヤツの種類が少なく、ストレートにピリ辛さにも繋がっている感じ。
うん、いろいろな意味で、この店、楽しそうだ。
野蛮な感じの味わいが、どこか性にも合う。
スープも、やけに片栗粉が多く、粘質をともなっている感じ。
メニューを眺めてみたが、他にも食べたい料理がたくさんある。
満足。
ごちそうさまでした。
どちらかと言えば、広東料理・上海料理などの正統派などを続けてしまったから、よりネイティブ感を感じるのかも知れない。
また、地元の池袋チャイナタウンで慣れ親しんでいる感じの東北料理だから親近感が湧くのかも知れない。
いずれにせよ、また来る。
