出張帰りの横浜、それは夜ではなく早い夕方だった。
ランチタイムにつまらないものを口に入れたばかりに中途半端さが拭えない腹具合。
真っすぐ帰るのが何となく損した気分だったので中華街へ足を向ける。
でも、有名店はコロナ禍にも拘らず混み合っている。
ホント、日本人って懲りないよなぁ。
非常事態ってどういう状況なんだろう？
こうなったら名前も知らない店に入ってみようかと手ごろなところに接近すると玄関にお姉さん。
「いらしゃ～い。ご案内しますよ。」
うなぎの寝床状のフロアには先客なし。完全な貸切だ。
「あ～、やっぱりな。」と早くも諦めに近い感情だ。
メニューを見ると、まだランチセットの注文を受けてくれるようだ。
７～8種類の組み合わせがあるそんな中から「回鍋肉の定食」をお願いすることにした。
待っている間にに店内を見渡すと、こちらはコロナ禍前は食べ放題とかやっていたようである。
それから店の名前にも「小籠包専門店」とある。
後から気づいたので今さらメニューを変えるわけにはいかない。
さて運ばれた定食は、小さめの皿に新鮮なキャベツと豚肉が辣油、豆板醤、（甜面醤？）などで
炒められたオカズ、ご飯、モヤシの酢の物、スープ、杏仁豆腐の小鉢である。
キャベツのシャキシャキ感を殺さずにうまく調理しており味も良いが豚肉は少な目だ。
スープの味は薄い。
ご飯の炊き方は、筆者の好みに近いのでよかった。
一番褒められるのは杏仁豆腐だったりして・・・。
中華街的には安いのだろうが量的にも多くはないし、素材を贅沢に使っているとも言えない。
食べた後の満足感は弱い。
まぁ、小籠包や他のメニューを試していないので何とも評価しようがないのだが、この日のランチ
に関して言えば「普通」だった。
特別に美味しかったとか得したとかはない。
取り合えず腹が膨れたし晩飯はなくてもいいや、という気分になれた。
