ちょっと呑み足りない……。そんなときにお邪魔します。
青葉台でオーセンティックなショットバーとなると、ここか Antiquary になりますが、自分は少しカジュアルなこちらの方が好み。
しばらくショットバーからは遠ざかっていたのですが、久々に旨いカクテルが飲みたいと思い、訪問。
ずいぶん前から存在自体走っていたのですが、行く機会に恵まれませんでした。
店内は少し暗めの照明。カウンターメインのショットバーです。
常時４人程度のバーテンダーさんがいます。
シングルモルトあり、カクテルも豊富ですが、自分の中ではもうひとつ、ガージェリースタウトが飲めるというのが、この店のポイントです。
一人で行くことが多いので、カウンターでバーテンダーさんと話しながら呑むことが多いです。
先日、この店で初めてマティーニを頂きました。
「男は40過ぎてから、女は30過ぎてから」が持論の自分。
キング・オブ・カクテルであるマティーニは、若造が飲んでいい酒ではない、40になるまで飲まない！なんて勝手に自分のルールを決めていました。
そんな話をしながら、40歳を迎えたある日、さまざまなマティーニを作ってもらいました。
一人落ち着いて飲むもよし、二人連れで話しながら呑むもよし。
常連が入れ替わり立ち替わりくるので、隠れ家というには賑やかですが、それもまたこの店の温かさの一部になっているのだと思います。
