東急田園都市線の青葉台駅から商店街を通って住宅地に向かう途中で見つけてビストロです。
店内にはグランドピアノが置いてあってシックな内装で落ち着いた感じのレストラン。
テーブル配置がゆったりとしていて店舗面積が広い割にはキャパが少ないのようですが、住宅地らしく先客は家族連れが多く７割くらいの入りで下。
本日のお勧めメニューはカレー、グラタン、ビーフストロガノフ、ステーキ丼で単価は１５００円~３０００円（税別）という強気の価格設定です。
これだけの値段を取るからには、カレーといってもただのカレーではなく、海老とサザエのシーフードカレーというので、どんなものかとオーダーしてみます。
お皿からはみ出しそうな大きなサザエの殻の中に、ボイルしたサザエの身をスライスしたのがたっぷりはいっていて、一番奥には尻尾の部分もしっかり入っている。この中にどろっとしたカレーがg入っていて、サザエのほろ苦さと絶妙なバランスを保っている。
海老はおそらく手長海老だと思いますが、縦半分に切り分けてパン粉焼きのような香ばしい焼き方で殻ごと食べられそうなくらいしっかりと焼いてある。
カレー自体は辛さは大したことは無いが、シーフードの旨味がたっぷり出ていた欧風カレーとしては、かなり美味しいです。
連れが注文したビーフストロガノフは、２９８０円と一番高い方のメニューだけあって牛肉がとんでもなく柔らかくて美味しかった。
おそらくステーキ丼に使うA5ランクの黒毛和牛の切り落としを使用したものと思われます。
ソースもクリーミーで美味しくて、すっかり満足しました。
