田園都市線青葉台の駅前の環状4号線を、賑わっていない方向（十日市場方面）に歩き続けると、人通りもぐっと少なくなった頃に浮かび上がってくる店「A Plus」はある。平日の夜の郊外の住宅街という立地にも拘わらずこの日も予約で満席。温かい雰囲気の店内とカウンターの向こう側に広がる大スペースのオープンキッチンの中を、愛想の良い女性が動き回る。この方こそ、予て神楽坂や銀座の有名店の厨房を経て、数年前にこちらを開店されたオーナーシェフの久米さんである。
まず驚いたのは満席の店内をシェフが一人で仕切っていること。そして、彼女がいつもお客様楽しそうに会話をされていること。さらには、こちらの食べるスピードに合わせて次の皿がタイミング良く運ばれてくること。全ての料理が感動的に美味しいこと。そして、ソムリエの資格をお持ちのシェフが、豊富なセレクションの中からマッチングするワインをペアリングしてくれること。こんな奇跡に出逢える店です。
知人に連れて来ていただいた店なのですが、「誰にも教えたくない店」になりました。ご馳走様でした。また来ます！
