On a Friday night, we decided to go to the nearest Yakiniku (Grilled meat), so we went to the reliable Gyukaku. The restaurant's selling point is the all-you-can-eat buffet, but what's great is that you can also order a la carte items. We ordered: Skirt Cow tongue Kalbi, Thickly-sliced Cow tongue tongue choregi salad. We started with the choregi salad, which was a strong Cow tongue which was as thick as it looked, and was cut into small pieces with scissors and served with lemon or wasabi. It was a juicy dish with a firm bite. Skirt steak: The reliable skirt steak was well-grilled. It was well-grilled on both sides to soak up the juices and bring out the umami. Kalbi: Although it was thinly sliced, it had a strong meaty texture and also went perfectly with wasabi. This was a reliable Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant.
